Low Self Esteem
Meditation can bring increased mental clarity and a fresh perspective on negative self-talk - allowing us to see it for what it really is and break out of the familiar cycles of low morale. For many, realising the degree to which they can master their own mind is a significant and growing source of self-confidence and assurance.
- The problem
According to leading psychologist Abraham Maslow, psychological health is not possible unless the essential core of the person is fundamentally accepted, loved and respected by by him or herself.
Self-esteem gives you the confidence to face life optimistically and enables you to reach for and achieve your goals. Developing self-esteem greatly increases our chance of living a happy fulfilled life.
The problem is that feeling bad about yourself is very, very common.
